We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full time Band 7 Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist, specialising in the needs of Older People living with frailty associated conditions. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be encouraged and supported to develop your existing extended Occupational Therapy skills with our highly regarded, innovative and motivated therapy team. You will be supported to develop your leadership and managerial skills, as well as your quality improvement (QI) skills to lead projects developing the services for the future. You will work with other Clinical Leads and Clinical Specialist Therapists across UHD as part of a collaborative leadership model for Older Persons Services to support the whole team more widely. This role requires HCPC Registration . Base Location: Bournemouth Hospital Interview Date: TBC This role will have a strong clinical focus and as such we are looking for a confident clinician who can develop skills within the team. This post holder will also need to build close links with the multidisciplinary team to ensure we continue to deliver excellent care for our patients and develop expertise in our workforce beyond therapy. The role will include line management of staff and the post holder will also have an opportunity to develop leadership and people management skills and will need excellent organisational, communication and management skills. This is an ideal opportunity for you to positively influence patient care if you have: Clinical expertise working with patients with complex needs and frailty Effective leadership skills Motivation to develop services putting the patient first This post includes 7 day working and therefore the post holder will be expected to participate in weekend working . The post holder must be a car driver and ideally will have access to a car for work purposes.
