Additionally, to the competency framework, we offer a comprehensive induction and development plan with a vast array of training opportunities enabling you to expand your skill set and evidence-based practices We are looking for Mental Health Nurses to provide support to patients for the Wellbeing Unit. In partnership with the Prison Service, we will provide an enhanced level of care to those residents at HMP Hull and the wider male population within the secure estate in Yorkshire and Humber. The Wellbeing Unit will: offer residents with capacity urgent assessment and treatment, intervention and medication to stabilise their MH and promote recovery establish pathways with regional secure units to ensuring safe transfer and remission to and from secure services when appropriate. You will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse. A £3,000 Trust welcome bonus will be applied to this post and is paid, as follows; £1,500 upon joining the Trust £750 after year 1 £750 after year 2 Applications are welcome from those registered with the Trust's Temporary Staffing Service (Bank) or that undertake work for the Trust via an external agency. However, please be aware that this incentive is only applicable to individual's on one occasion only. Therefore, you will not be eligible if you have received it previously. This role will be responsible for assessment and caseload management of those referred onto Wellbeing Unit. You will carry out comprehensive assessments, confidently communicating treatment options and initiating supportive care plans, and providing evidence-based interventions alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team You will be committed to a person-centered approach to your work and will have an ability to prioritise and work flexibly. We are looking for skilled professionals who will thrive working in a busy environment in a well resourced team of multidisciplinary professionals, as well as alongside partner providers from a variety of internal and external services.
