The post holder will ensure that effective management underpins the leadership of the unit, supporting the Clinical Service Manager and Managing Director to ensure leadership decisions are translated into impactful service delivery. In partnership with the Clinical Lead, the Unit Manager will oversee performance and governance across a portfolio of clinical services across various sites/venues o Operational Leadership: Manage all aspects of the Adult Clinical Unit, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and within budget. This includes driving cost improvement schemes and delivering the business plan. o Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery, focusing on both efficiency and effectiveness. Use job planning, appraisals, and robust line management to encourage the workforce to work to the top of their license and develop innovative solutions to improve services. o Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure the effective communication of operational priorities across a broad range of complex and varied services. Use advanced interpersonal and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including service users and a diverse range of Trust staff, to deliver new service models and ways of working.
