As the clinical team administrator, you will be an important part of the team providing excellent administrative support to the ward management team, medical and clinical staff. Patient care is our priority and as administrator part of your responsibility would be to provide a high standard of up to date record keeping and data quality to support our high standards of care. The team offers support for service users who have recently been discharged from an acute ward and need support reintegrating into the community whilst providing them with all the tools they need to go on and lead a happy and fulfilling life. In this role you will attend and minute multi-disciplinary team meetings and patient reviews, work with professionals, carers, family members and patients to ensure a high-quality standard of care. This means you will need to be competent in note taking. The role will also include, but is not limited to, answering the phones for the team, creating letters for consultants as required, procurement orders for the unit, raising IT and maintenance requests and clinical scanning. The successful applicant will also be part of the wider admin team based at Woodlands, Ipswich Hospital and will be trained to help cover reception when required. Having an insight into how other wards run makes this role varied and interesting and allows for progression to higher banding roles for the right applicant. The role at Suffolk Rehab and Recovery Service is part of a small admin team and you will have the ultimate responsibility of supporting the team whilst the Senior Administrator for the Suffolk Rehab and Recovery Community Team will support, line manage and offer regular supervision ensuring you have the training and guidance to assist you in your role.
