Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust is a major teaching hospital with 270 beds. It is a supra-regional centre for cardiac surgery, neuro surgery and paediatric major trauma. Alder Hey is one of Europe's busiest children's hospitals and we care for over 270,000 young people and their families every year. We perform a wide range of examinations including advanced neuro imaging (fMRI and intra-operative MRI), advanced cardiac MRI and CT and some research scanning, in fact no two days are ever the same. About us ALDER HEY CHILDREN'S NHS FOUNDATION TRUST JOB DESCRIPTION Post: Radiographer Cross Sectional Imaging Band: 6 Hours: 37.5hrs per week evening duties and on call as required Accountable to: Radiology Service Manager Reports to: Lead Radiographer Cross Sectional Imaging (CSI) Role Summary: The post holder will be required to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and deliver a high-quality Cross-Sectional Imaging service for a variety of paediatric presentations. Pro rata participation in the CT/MRI on-call rota is required. The post holder must have a flexible approach to the working hours to accommodate the demands of the department.
