About us The postholder will be expected to work with a flexible approach and be provide a delivery service of hospital linen to wards and departments at the Wigan Infirmary (Royal Albert Edward Infirmary) site. Experience of a similar working environment will be an advantage. The ability to Order, receipt and audit goods efficiently and accurately is required. The stock will need to be ordered via an external supplier IT Portal. (Full training will be given). Occasional operation of onsite laundry facilities for the washing and drying of Trust owned items may also be required. Also, uniform distribution and recording of signatures from staff for collected uniform is essential to the role. The postholder will need to be flexible with the occasional need to work across other Linen Services Dept.
