A main focus of the role will be to assist the Nurse in Charge in achieving quality patient care and effective flow through of patients within the department, the monitoring of this throughput and the implementation of the agreed Escalation Policy as necessary. The post holder will support the Lead Nurses and Matron in developing and monitoring services and the quality of care experienced by patients.
