As a health care assistant, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, whilst being a support and resource to other staff. You will be working as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team, alongside the substance misuse team and mental health teams. There are great opportunities for training and development and the opportunity to work with interesting patients and learn new skills. If you are self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing plenty of initiative when it comes to handling a wide range of situations, then this could be the right role for you! Our services include Substance Misuse, reception screening, providing agreed care packages, undertaking appropriate physical health observations, clinics such as Phlebotomy, ECG, BLS, NHS health checks, sexual health, health promotion and responding to emergency call outs alongside the registered nurse.You will need a good level of communication skills, being computer literate is essential and you must be a team player who is able to provide high standards of care to patients under the supervision of a qualified nurse/practitioner. If you have NVQ level 3 and a good level of care experience, then we could have the perfect job for you!
