Rotational Occupational Therapist Band 6: £37,338-£44,962 37.5 hours per week Permanent Are you ready for a Band 6 OT position but not sure which area to work in? Do you want to gain further experience as a Band 6 and transfer your skills across different clinical areas You will provide Occupational Therapy assessments, treatment, and intervention for patients with a diverse range of presentations, with a focus on hospital avoidance, self-management and discharge planning. Each rotation will be 12 months, enabling you to gain significant experience, knowledge, and skills in each service. The rotation covers services which require you to work over 7 days including bank holidays. Shift patterns vary according to each rotation and post holders will need to be able to fulfil the shift patterns relevant to each rotation. You will work closely within multi-disciplinary teams and relevant external agencies and will be expected to complete a Practice Educator course and to take at least one student per academic year. The ability to travel to meet the needs of the service is essential. Well also consider Band 5-6 OT development roles for experienced Band 5 OTs, as part of the rotation. These roles offer a structured learning and development programme over a 12-month period to support you to grow and achieve your competencies and objectives.
