We are looking for a highly specialist Occupational Therapist to work in our acute pathway Therapies team, joining SALT, Psychology, nursing and key working colleagues. You will be part of an integrated, multi-disciplinary CAMHS team, who are focused on ensuring children and young people, and their families, get the right help at the right time. Offering specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to children and young people presenting with co-morbid mental health needs as well as autism and neurodiversity you will be have an important role in shaping the care of young people presenting in the acute pathway and then receiving ongoing care from both the CAMHS key working and locality teams. This is a community-based role that requires frequent travel to various locations throughout the county including areas that may not be accessible by public transportation. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate how they will manage these travel requirements. Proposed interview date: TBC As a Specialist Occupational Therapist in acute care you will have a key role in supporting our new Key working Team and our multiagency rapid response service (MARRS). We aim to build an integrated pathway that will offer support and treatment for families in a joined-up way. As part of this process, we have been working with families and staff to develop a new service that puts the young person and their family at the centre of what we do. We will provide a seamless, integrated, and holistic approach to crisis care, supporting families to bring about positive change that will benefit all those involved.
