About us We are looking for 2 part-time positions. Although working patterns will be fixed, a degree of flexibility is essential to provide cover for holidays and sickness. Hours of work are between the hours of 08:00 and 18:30 Monday to Friday but we also provide one late surgery a week until 20.00 on a Thursday. The successful applicants will work at Milborne Port Surgery and at our branch site in Templecombe. A Care Navigator needs to have excellent communication skills, a high level of IT literacy and the ability to relate well to patients, signposting appropriately to colleagues and the wider clinical team. Previous experience in a medical or healthcare environment is helpful but not essential and training will be provided. Working in a GP practice requires a high level of professionalism and an excellent grasp of the principles of confidentiality and respect for all patients.
