The Senior Personal Assistant will provide comprehensive office and administrative support to the Clinical Support Team in NHSBT. It is an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care by supporting the teams work in blood supply. The candidate will be responsible for the preparation of papers for meetings, taking minutes, researching the internet for relevant literature and co-ordinating travel, accommodation arrangements, diary co-ordination and communication with senior personnel within NHSBT. The candidate will also be expected to handle enquiries from patients, donors, and medical staff in NHS Trusts. Your responsibilities will include: Providing a comprehensive PA service to the Clinical Support Team. Acting as a central source of communication between the Clinical Support Team and other Managers in the Directorate and other Directorates and with agencies/contacts external to the organisation. Ensuring the effective running of the service and the timely prioritisation of all administrative duties. To act as a communication channel between the manager, department/team, other departments and external agencies On infrequent occasions you will be required to travel to other NHSBT and external sites, very occasionally requiring overnight stays.
