All theatre sessions have senior anaesthetic cover.There will be dedicated secretarial/admin support and mentoring will be available to newly appointed consultants.Annual leave and study leave/ professional leave will be provided in accordance with the Welsh Consultant contract. This is a fixed term post. This is a full-time post consisting of ten sessions per week (please refer to the Welsh Consultants' contract for precise contractual details). And will be split as 8 DCC and 2 SPA's. There will be dedicated secretarial/admin support. The fixed sessions will include 6 outpatient clinics (specialist oculoplastic) and 2 theatre sessions. The theatre sessions will be used for subspecialty procedures. The theatre sessions have senior anaesthetic cover.The remaining flexible sessions would be used to support professional development, teaching, research, clinical governance, patient administration and to cover on-call commitments. Mentoring will be available to newly appointed consultants. Annual leave and study leave/ professional leave will be provided in accordance with the Welsh Consultant contract.
