The Patient Safety and Governance Team of Hampshire Hospital NHS Foundation Team are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of quality, safety and compliance officer. The successful candidate will provide effective and efficient administrative support to the patient safety, risk and governance team. As the ideal candidate you will have experience of working in administrative roles with experience in prioritising and managing busy workloads. Experience and attention to detail are key to this role. You will have excellent organisation and communication skills. You will also have excellent IT and communication skills and experience of using a range of IT systems including Microsoft Office. Key responsibilities: Provide support and administration for Trust patient safety and governance meetings by booking meetings, preparing papers, sending agendas, accurate minute taking and collating and tracking actions from previous minutes. Provide administrative support to the governance functions within the Trust, which includes clinical effectiveness, learning from deaths, incident reporting and learning, health and safety, policy management, risk management and the implementation of the national patient safety syllabus Provide officer support to the clinical effectiveness and quality assurance team through participation in data collection and data entry. Provide officer support to the learning from deaths, clinical data quality and patient safety improvement programmes of work. Plan and support the delivery of the Connecting with Care programme. To lead the organisation and communications of Trust safety events. To support the design and publication of Trust quality, safety and compliance publications, using a variety of IT software packages. About us You will be part of a small, friendly and dedicated patient safety and governance team. This post is based primarily at our Winchester site, with the expectation of travelling to Basingstoke, Andover and Alton sites, if required.
