Candidates must be flexible, hardworking, have good time management and have the ability to plan and organise their workload. This role will include working within a ward setting, as well as supporting the Medicines Management team in the community.This is a stimulating and diverse post which covers a wide portfolio of services and opportunities to develop many new skills in a patient-centred environment including service transformation and change management opportunities as well as exposure to various community healthcare settings.The working hours are 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday with NO weekend or late shift duties. About us Be responsible for ensuring the provision of the Medicines Management service to designated bedded areas, which involves working in clinical areas unsupervised. Maintain the Patients Own Drug (POD) scheme according to Trust Policies. This involves checking the suitability of patients own drugs i.e., Correct instructions on label, expiry date, re-labelling if necessary and gaining patient consent for using their own medication.
