The successful applicant will be expected to work 9.5 hours per week across Tuesday afternoon (15.30 - 20.00) and Friday morning (08:00 - 13:00). West Barnes Surgery has a solid patient list of in excess of 7,000 patients and is overseen by four partners. The workforce is made up of 30 team members across the clinical and administration teams. The practice has been rated as 'good' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and offer high quality compassionate health care to patients in a friendly welcoming setting. Patient care is at the heart of everything the practices does, with the aim being to provide patients with a personalised medical and nursing service. There is also the willingness to work hard to ensure that patients receive the care we would wish for ourselves and families. Job Summary: To work as part of the primary healthcare team, providing medical services to the practices patients; including treatment, preventive care, screening and patient education. The Practice is prepared to offer support if an applicant lacks an experience in certain areas. However, as a medium size practice, there may be days when you will be the only nurse on the premises. It is important that you have confidence to take the initiatives as well as work as a member of the small but strong team.
