The role includes long term condition reviews (Diabetes, COPD, Asthma), Wound care, Cervical Screening, Contraception, Travel & Child Immunisations. The Alma Road Surgery is in a semi-rural location on the outskirts of Southampton and the New Forest with a list size of 15,700 patients. We have 11 GPs, 4 Practice Nurses, Respiratory Nurse Lead, 2 Healthcare Assistants and 2 Phlebotomists. Staff benefit from a morning and afternoon coffee break, social events, birthday leave and a friendly and supportive team culture. Informal visits to the Practice are welcomed.
