A total of 1.44 WTE are available to be distributed between 2 posts according to preference of the successful candidates. The caseload that these two posts cover includes: inpatient dysphagia and stroke, Head and Neck Cancer, community dysphagia. We will consider making one of the posts a Band 5 - 6 development opportunity if you have a passion for one of these areas but haven't quite met the essential criteria. We are looking for two dysphagia trained Speech and Language Therapists with a passion for providing patient centred care in our Adult SALT service which is based at Airedale General Hospital and in the community. The Adult Speech & Language Therapy Team, within Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, works with adults who have a range of acquired and long term conditions in both acute and community settings.
