Job summary To support the Cardiac Physiologists and other Assistant Technical Officers in the Cardiology department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital as well as our newly established Community diagnostic hub based at Eltham Community hospital. Your will have the opportunity to rotate through both sites. Provide an efficient and accurate ECG service to inpatients and outpatients and assist in other forms of electrocardiographic examinations including the ambulatory monitoring service. Assist with physiologist managed tests such as physiologist led exercise tests and chest pain exercise tests, if required. Main duties of the job To be an integral part of and to assist with the every day running of the Cardiorespiratory department. To be comfortable dealing with patients of all types and communicate with them effectively. Perform high quality and accurate testing including the fitting of ambulatory monitors, downloading and cleaning both cardiac and blood pressure monitors on outpatients and inpatients. Full training will be given. To assist the physiologists, ensuring that all supporting administration in completed clearly and kept up to date. Restocking and tidying of clinical rooms to the required standard Understand the operation of the equipment you use, reporting any faults promptly. Any other duties as required by the service. "}
