Working within our Maternity and Neonatal directorate across Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea and St Mary's hospitals, both rated 'Outstanding' for their Maternity Service by the CQC, our neonatal team care for nearly 1000 babies each year. The Winnicott Baby Unit provides care to a wide variety of patients needing SCBU, HDU and ITU care,withfamily integrated care as one of our guiding principles. We put our patients and their families at the centre of every decision we make and you can join us in giving our patients the Best Start in Life. Our Neonatal Matrons lead skilled and capable nursing teams within a large clinical service, working closely with our Maternity services to ensure our families get the best possible care. If you are an expert NICU nurse with proven leadership and management skills, currently working at band 7 or 8 in Neonates, then this role could be for you. We are looking for someone who can network effectively both regionally and nationally and support our team in developing advanced clinical roles within Neonatal nursing care. Manage the provision of the Neonatal nursing services and provide professional nursing leadership in the Winnicott Baby Unit unit at SMH. Ensuring care is individualised and of the highest quality. Work across two sites (SMH & QCCH) with the Lead Nurse for Neonatology, Maternity leadership, Service Manager and Deputy General Manager and General Manager to implement a Neonatal nursing strategy that supports and grows the Division of Maternity and Neonatology. Work collaboratively with the Neonatal Team at QCCH as Neonatal care is delivered as one Service across two hospital sites for Imperial.
