We are delighted to be opening a dedicated transfer/discharge lounge for our patients at the Grange University Hospital. This superb initiative reinforces our commitment to deliver outstanding healthcare. The facility is an important phase in the patient pathway to facilitate early release of inpatient beds for new admissions and provides a comfortable and calm environment for patients to complete final treatments and discharge arrangements. The facility will provide a nurse led service accepting patients on the day of transfer/discharge ensuring a smooth, timely and safe transition from hospital to home or other specified destination. We are therefore seeking a driven, enthusiastic and focused leader who will lead the nursing team thus enhancing the patient experience, improve patient outcomes and contribute to organisational priorities of improved patient flow. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. "}
