The Radiology Department hosts student radiographers with a commitment to delivering high quality teaching. It actively supports and encourages career development at all levels including Assistant Practitioner and Advanced Practice. Responsible for the organisation, planning, management and delivery of a comprehensive and effective 24/7 CT imaging service, including managing the CT waiting lists and provide weekly reports/KPI's for review To lead a team of CT radiographers to produce high quality scans in accordance with the current radiation regulations and departmental protocols/procedures at the lowest radiation dose possible. To line manage staff including attendance management, personal development and disciplinary investigations. To work in conjunction with other Modality leads to manage day to day operations and staff rota. To provide professional support for staff and contribute towards the development of plans to improve patient care within current professional and legal standards, national and local policies.
