You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with a real passion for clinical coding. You must be willing to undertake training to become an Approved Clinical Coding Auditor. The ability to extract, analyse and model data from Trust systems and nationally available benchmarking data and present in a clear and meaningful format using Microsoft products, in particular Excel is essential to monitor and drive improvements in the Team's compliance in applying Local and National Coding rules, standards, and conventions to ensure the data is accurate, complete and of the highest quality. The post holder is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of best practice systems and processes to ensure timely and the highest quality coded data across the Trust.
