Interview date to be confirmed Main duties and responsibilities o Provide information to expectant Women/Maternity Service Users to facilitate informed choice of the care and services available to them. Actively engage and communicate with families, interpreting complex results of investigations and diagnosis into easily understood terms, providing appropriate information.o Provide specialist midwifery advice to women and families requiring maternal medicine supporto Maintain and update databases, information, audits and resources in line with network recommendations Managerial and Leadership Responsibilities o To lead and manage the day-to-day coordination of the maternal medicine clinics, ensuring an efficient and effective service within the resources available including the supervision and development of staff, monitoring the teaching and assessing of students gaining experience in the clinics.o Coordinate the smooth running of the maternal medicine clinics alongside the lead Obstetric Consultants.o To analyse statistical data that will facilitate delivery of the service and be responsive to future trends.
