This role is pivotal in supporting the team in delivering care. As a pivotal member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of high standards of care, incorporating a recovery-oriented approach that encompasses all aspects of health needs and risk management. This includes working closely with relevant stakeholders (e.g. community mental health in aging services, social care, advocacy services, third sector organisations) to ensure a safe environment and providing support to individuals in meeting their psychological and physical health requirements. Alongside trust-wide training opportunities (E.g. preceptorship, supervision and annual appraisal), we can offer you bespoke local training (e.g. cognitive testing; catheterisation, phlebotomy, ECG, weekly simulation lead by the ward psychologist, wound management training, bespoke bitesize training and dementia training. We provide career development opportunities that support staff to remain within the pathway (working with older adult), to develop as a clinician and from inpatient to community team. Liaising and working positively with members of the multi-disciplinary team and partner organisations, to ensure that appropriate and individual treatment is provided.
