We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medicines optimisation pharmacist to join our medicines optimisation team. At North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board, we are committed to providing high-quality care and support to our community. This post will be ICB wide but will be aligned to Durham. You will be responsible for helping to improve quality and cost-effectiveness of prescribing with clinicians within the ICB. To interpret highly complex national guidance on the safe storage and supply of medicines. Analyse and interpret prescribing (EPACT) data on new and existing medicines to identify areas of excessive and inappropriate prescribing. About us Provide medicines information to GPs, nurses, primary care staff and community pharmacists including production of a regular newsletter and other communication media. Produce and present concise written and verbal reports to prescribing and other relevant committees on planned and completed work. Reports may require analysis of highly complex medicines information from a variety of sources. "}
