St. George's Emergency Department is one of the largest in the country, seeing approximately 160, 000 patients a year. The department sees a wide variety of patients from minor injuries to major traumas.The Trust is one of only four designated Major Trauma Centres in London, with a helipad providing direct access to the ED for the most seriously injured patients.The Trust also has a hyper-acute stroke unit and a heart attack centre. We are seeking enthusiastic nurses at Band 5 level with post registration experience to join our Emergency Department team. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and be part of an evolving and developing service. We are a very friendly department offering flexible working opportunities. The department is also committed to supporting on-going professional development with strong links to academic programmes and a well-established work-based development programmes supported by our Practice Development team.
