The clinician will provide a range podiatry treatment, including wound care for diabetic and non-diabetic ulceration, across the Rotherham area covering Rotherham Hospital, Community Health Centre site, community clinics, and domiciliary visits for housebound patients. The successful applicant will join the nail surgery clinic rota The Diabetes Podiatry Service duties include the management of Active Diabetic Foot problems, rotation on the MDT Diabetic Foot Clinic, and a limited amount of in-patient care. The Band 6 duties include delivering education training sessions to other professional staff and patient groups when required, and communication with other services such as: Community Nurse Teams, GP, and also Accident and Emergency/ SDEC when patients need to be admitted.
