OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST Band 5 Permanent contract Hours: 37.5 hours per week SALARY RANGE; Band 5 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our rotation. The post holder will work in a dedicated OT team alongside a supportive MDT, to deliver occupational therapy. Our rotations are 9 months in duration, and currently cover Orthopaedics, Neurology/Stroke, Surgery, General Medicine and Acute Care Therapy Team (ACTT) The teams are committed to delivering high standards of care across the patient pathway. We are seeking applications from individuals with a passion for working in the acute setting. You will need to demonstrate time management skills and the ability to be flexible, to be able to manage a caseload in a busy setting. Excellent communication skills will be key, as you will be working with patients and their families in stressful and complex situations. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and be committed to team working both within OT and the wider MDT. Applicants will be supported to develop problem solving and specialist clinical skills essential for meeting the demands of this setting. Regular supervision will be provided and a staff appraisal system is in operation. We are commissioned to provide a seven day services so flexibility to work weekends will be required. "}
