Flexibility and a willingness to take on varied tasks within a healthcare setting. Good communication skills to work effectively with supervisors, team leaders, and clinical/non-clinical staff. Experience: Previous experience in a facilities, cleaning, or catering role is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Catering Duties: Prepare, serve, and deliver meals for inpatients, ensuring food safety and strict adherence to hygiene policies, including HACCP standards. Assist with the preparation of salads, sandwiches, and other food items as needed. Ensure patient meals are organised, prepared, and placed in ward trolleys at the correct time for service. Clean, collect, and return all crockery, cutlery, and water jugs as required Cleaning Duties: Clean and sanitise surfaces, floors, glass, ledges, and all sanitary areas to NHS standards. Empty, clean, and replenish waste bins; follow appropriate waste disposal procedures. Maintain and clean equipment, ensuring it is in safe and serviceable condition. Replace bed linens and consumables (paper towels, soap, toilet rolls) as needed to keep patient areas well-stocked and comfortable About us Additional Responsibilities: Wear the correct uniform and maintain a clean, professional appearance. Attend departmental meetings, complete necessary paperwork, and support the Trusts appraisal and personal development processes.
