Catering Duties: Prepare, serve, and deliver meals for inpatients, ensuring food safety and strict adherence to hygiene policies, including HACCP standards. Assist with the preparation of salads, sandwiches, and other food items as needed. Ensure patient meals are organised, prepared, and placed in ward trolleys at the correct time for service. Clean, collect, and return all crockery, cutlery, and water jugs as required Cleaning Duties: Clean and sanitise surfaces, floors, glass, ledges, and all sanitary areas to NHS standards. Empty, clean, and replenish waste bins; follow appropriate waste disposal procedures. Maintain and clean equipment, ensuring it is in safe and serviceable condition.
