Our future Deputy COO will be a very experienced senior manager, with a high level of personal resilience and strong leadership skills amassed in leading large, complex and diverse service portfolios at sub-board level across a range of organisational settings. The postholder will be expected to act independently, and able to evidence taking timely and at times, significant decisions to ensure operational delivery, driving change and improvement, through supporting, influencing and directing. The Deputy COO -- Mental Health & Deputy AEO will lead on Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response (EPRR) governance, processes and assurance on behalf of the Chief Operating Officer. You will support our Chief Operating Officer in their role, and will have delegated authority through the COOs office, providing significant leadership across the Trust, working closely with the Divisional teams to provide effective patient flow, timely admission and discharge within inpatient care.
