The ideal candidate will already be working in a similar position in primary care. You will be part of our clinical team offering a wide range of services such as phlebotomy, spirometry, ECG's, vaccinations, BP checks and health checks and be familiar with Systmone patient record system. Your main duties and responsibilities include: Be qualified & competent in a range of services for our patients such as vaccination, phlebotomy, 24 hour and other blood pressure readings, spirometry & asthma checks, ECG's, weight monitoring, foot assessments, wound management, learning disability reviews and Urine analysis Vaccinating and other immunisations such as seasonal flu injections, B12 etc Carrying out baseline observations and facilitating specific patient monitoring. Undertaking venepuncture Supporting the Practice Nurse with the management of chronic diseases, healthcare promotions, and specimen analysis. Do new patient health checks and registrations and other health reviews Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and upholding infection control and clinical waste protocols. Proficient IT skills and have experience of Systmone being competent in maintaining accurate records of care provided. Able to offer diet, lifestyle and smoking cessation advice Monitoring and maintaining all medical equipment, including emergency equipment. Ensuring all clinical rooms are well-stocked and prepared for consultations.
