An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered childrens nurse to join the childrens services team and work within the childrens assessment unit. Our purpose-built department opened in March 2021 and this year we have won the prestigious HSJ aware for innovation. We are looking to recruit someone who is motivated, hard working and excells in a fast paced environment. You will support the lead nurse in delivering patient-centred, high-quality care. You will be happy working amongst a MDT and supporting the childrens emergency department as this post gives the successful candidate the opportunity to work across both areas. The post holder will assist in the running of the department alongside the staff nurse in charge of the childrens assessment The post holder will work as part of a team of staff and co-ordinate the clinical workload and ensure the effective and efficient use of resources during the shift period.
