It is really vital that our patients flow through the department and are either discharged or admitted promptly and accurately. To do this we need to increase our team of reception staff in Tunbridge Wells Emergency Departments to provide the administrative support to enable this flow. You will be working on systems such as Teletracking (bed management), Sunrise (electronic patient record) and other IT systems. The shift patterns will between the hours of the following on a 4 week rolling rota. 08.00-20.00 09.00-21.00 The purpose of this role is to provide administration support to clinical teams with regards to all aspects of patient flow, using the various computer systems used within both Emergency Departments in the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As part of the team committed to delivering a high quality Emergency Department service, the post holder is responsible for the organisation and management of an efficient clerical system within the ED's across both sites, the post holder may be required to cover other clerical areas within the directorate as appropriate. The hours vary from day to night, including weekends and bank holidays on an agreed rota. Currently we offer 6, 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts either day or night, working up to 37.5 hours per week across both sites.
