The post holder will work within the framework of the NMC Code, other NMC guidance and Mersey & West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Policies and Guidelines. The post holder will have responsibility for both clinical staff and governance issues and continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and development of care plans and will ensure optimal standards of care on a 24 hour basis.
