This role will involve cross sites working on Winchester, Basingstoke and Andover hospital. The main responsibility for this post is to deliver the Sleep (OSA/CPAP) and Tuberculosis (TB) service, although you will also be expected to provide general respiratory nursing cover. Applicants will be expected to have a sound knowledge of respiratory conditions and treatment with recent respiratory experience within your role. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work autonomously, seeking support as required. You will need to be confident, have excellent clinical skills and have expertise in respiratory care, good communication skills and demonstrate a desire to provide high quality, specialist respiratory care and management to people with a Tuberculosis (TB) and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) You will act in a specialist role clinically facilitating, co-ordinating and providing the best possible evidence-based care to patients within the Trust diagnosed with Tuberculosis (TB) and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT), and you will inspire the TB and Sleep team to support and empower patients to understand, manage and improve their own respiratory health. You will also co-ordinate the supply of respiratory audit data to the Trust and for National audit submissions to improve patient care.
