Including Parenteral Nutrition (PN), Centralised Intravenous Additive Services (CIVAS), Cytotoxic agents and Clinical Trial Investigational Medicinal Products. To participate in the delivery and training of staff and assist with the delivery and maintenance of the quality assurance program. About us Provide support throughout aseptic unit, in carrying out tasks associated with set up, labelling and packaging of aseptically prepared products in a timely manner. Carry out environmental monitoring tasks, in accordance with departmental procedures and safe systems of work. Ensure safe use of equipment and ensure staff use equipment in accordance with instructions and SOP's. To carry out aseptic preparation including parenteral nutrition, CIVA, cytotoxic drugs, gene therapy and monoclonal antibodies from point of prescription receipt. To be aware and follow all departmental operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidance at all times. To communicate effectively with healthcare professionals both within and outside the Trust. To ensure good team working with other pharmacy staff, ward staff and other service providers as necessary. To train junior members of staff in core areas as deemed appropriate by the Senior Technical Team. To be aware of and participate, where required, in departmental audits.
