Applicant must be able to be flexible to cover annual leave and at short notice to cover sick leave. Good I.T., interpersonal and communication skills are essential, together with GCSE's. Experience of clinical coding and medications is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. As a member of the team, you must have the ability at times to work under pressure in a multitasking environment. Also, tasks and duties may be redistributed amongst the practice team as necessary. Review all incoming correspondence and enter, using read codes, pertinent information into the patients electronic medical record in accordance with the coding protocol. This will include data highlighted by clinicians as well as data required to meet contractual obligations.
