All candidates must be eligible for full GMC registration and either already be on the Specialist Register or be within six months of receiving CCST/ CCT in Histopathology at the time of interview. The post-holder will be expected to have experience of dealing with complex cases / resections and preferably have worked at a specialist centre. A higher medical degree in this area is desirable.Candidates wishing to undertake part time work will be considered. CV required for application This is a less than full time locum post and the successful applicant will join a team of 10 established Consultants in providing a high quality diagnostic reporting service for the Gastrointestinal (medical and surgical) teams. The post will also include support for the multiple gastrointestinal multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings. There is no on-call commitment. Participation in the post mortem rota is possible.
