Undertake home visits delegated by School Nurse Band 6 as required taking account of theHealth Board Lone Worker Policy.5. Undertake health promotion activities in a variety of settings as delegated by School NurseBand 6.6. To be knowledgeable of the effects of the (chronic condition) on the child and carers.7. Assisting/supporting School Nurse Band 6 in identifying health needs of identified targetarea. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse to become part of the School Nursing Service in the Denbigh area, as a member of the school nurse team which has responsibility for the health needs of the children and young people in a designated area The School Staff Nurse will have delegated responsibility for allocated schools/workload. It will involve undertaking immunisation programmes, health assessments, health promotion both within the community and schools. It will also involve acting in accordance with local Safeguarding procedures and the All Wales Child Protection procedures.
