The unit is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days a week and is designed to facilitate rapid assessment and investigation of speciality patients referred from GP, NHS 111, London Ambulance Service, and the Emergency department. Our Urgent Treatment Centre for minor injuries and illnesses is also part of the SDEC and you will be expected to work in all areas.
