The successful candidate will: carry out mental health assessments including risk to service users experiencing a deterioration in mental health in the perinatal period. be expected to take the lead in decisions and supervision and guide more junior staff. work closely with the service user to provide them with the right treatment pathway for them to follow. 1. To assess and manage mental health needs, including risk, to create care plans with the individual that will lead to recovery whilst supporting them with a safety plan. 2. To act as the duty lead on shift and allocate work to other team members as appropriate, to run the shift in a safe and effective way. 3. To manage and prioritise work that is allocated to you, to complete the assessment of mental health and risk and record on electronic systems as needed. To be able to supervision and caseload mange more junior staff. About us 1. To work in conjunction with other professionals E.g. GPs, midwifery, health visiting team. 2. To works in partnership with the individual to develop a plan of care that the service user agrees with. 3. To review the effectiveness of the care plan where appropriate. 4.
