To provide a high quality therapy focused service within a multidisciplinary team, delivering a flexible approach to patient care within in an inpatient setting. The therapy team consists of Occupational therapist, Physiotherapists, assistant practitioners and therapy support workers. The service consists of a 26 bedded inpatient ward and the therapy service is a 7-day service As a band 4 assistant practitioner you will be working alongside the therapists to deliver interventions as well as holding and managing a given caseload. You will be experienced in working in a multi disciplinary / multi-agency health or social care environment with knowledge of basic IT administration systems including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc). You will be patient focussed and have the ability to carry out comprehensive holistic assessments and be able to prioritise and make sound decisions, sometimes under pressure. To provide holistic and person-centred care and support community patients in an acute setting.
