The postholder will be responsible for the management and chairing of the Quality Impact Assement panels, representing and progressing QIAs to ensure equity and equalty. You will be a key resource and advisory both for the Trust and a representative of the interests of the NMAHP workforce to the regional forums. About us Key Areas/Tasks Communication & Relationships Skills Facilitate open communication, to allow expression of ideas and issues within the workforce and patient groups There is a requirement to exchange verbal and written information with patients, staff and carers requiring tact and diplomacy. The post holder needs to ensure that all barriers to understanding are overcome by using differing strategies to meet individual need. To work alongside recruitment to review hiring manager education, with a focus on self management of conscious and unconscious bias Attend and be an active member of Directorate/ Divisional meetings and working groups. To work with multiple agencies within the Trust to ensure the identification of key areas of focus and improvement, which may include governance, quality and safety, security, clinical and corporate teams To work to ensure the patient voice is at the heart of all Trust decisions, working alongside the Corporate Patient Safety Expert for Lived Experience Hold regular meetings with senior teams as a means to provide an opportunity to escalate specific concerns and report actions The post holder will demonstrate the skills for assessing and interpreting data. Investigate and respond to incidents, complaints and other significant events, participating in the preparation and governance of action plans where appropriate The postholder will have demonstrable planning & organisational skills The post holder will prioritise, plan workload and organise own time Contribute to the principles of clinical governance ensuring that quality standards are set and monitored. Ensure that clinical risk management and clinical audit are an integral part of the ward function. Required to co-ordinate activities with other professional agencies.
