Undertaking clinical supervision with night staff. Identifying any nighttime cost pressures with the budget responsibilities and take steps to minimise/eradicate their impact on the budget. Managing staff allocation, redeployments and daily numbers on the ward and additional use of premium rate staff to ensure budget is tightly controlled and effectively managed. Working closely with the on-site staff coordinator to ensure adequate staffing is considered and booked for the night and day teams.
