To assist the Team Manager in maintaining up to date statistics on the teams performance to ensure that Performance Indicator targets are achieved and accurate data is compiled To be supportive of the multi-professional team and encourage effective team working, implementing and maintaining high professional standards within and outside the team Responsible for the supervision and appraisal of staff members of the team We are looking for experienced Nurse prescribers to support the Milton Keynes Specialist CAMHS Team, the post holders must have completed the V300 Non-Medical Prescribing Course and be registered with the NMC. The successful candidates will work in an autonomous role supporting the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of young people on behalf of the Milton Keynes Specialist CAMHS service. There will be good access to supervision and advice from medical and non-medical colleagues to provide a safe professional framework in which to practice. The role involves a combination of community and clinic-based working to support a caseload of young people. A distinct benefit of the role is the opportunity to develop an enduring, collaborative and strong therapeutic relationship with young people and families. The successful candidates will provide guidance and resources for partner agencies such as the local authority and schools to ensure there is a robust and holistic package of support around the young people under their care. The risk management aspects of this role can be unpredictable and the successful candidate will need to be accomplished at risk and time management to promote patient safety.
