You will be based at Broomfield Hospital which is a busy District General Hospital, with rotation to two local Community Hospitals. We can offer you a busy, challenging and varied workload, including antenatal ultrasound services, general, small parts, paediatric, DVT and MSK scanning. We provide support to the Early Pregnancy Unit, Urology and Gynae clinics, and you will have the opportunity to work alongside the consultant radiologists on the Emergency Floor, scanning emergency and urgent inpatient cases. To work autonomously performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetrics and gynaecology. To provide accurate dating based on fetal ultrasound measurements in the pregnant woman - crucial to the calculation and confirmation of the expected date of delivery, and for the planning of antenatal care and tests.
