We are looking a motivated individual who is passionate about improving care and share our health board values to join our team. Bronglais General Hospital is a busy district general hospital. The department provides a range of medical and surgical specialities. You will be joining a team of experienced pharmacists and technicians and will be supported within a nurturing working environment to develop you career and undertake the prescribing qualification. Prescribers currently practice in Frailty, Cardiology and Anticoagulation. You will be part of the planned digital transformation of medicines management systems and will be actively encouraged to engage with these processes. You will be expected to undertake the role of responsible pharmacist and will be expected to undertake Emergency Duty Commitment (on-call), work weekends and Bank holidays as part of a rota. You will undertake a rotational clinical pharmacist role working closely with pharmacy colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to develop your practice in a wide range of clinical areas in a small and friendly acute trust. You will be supported in ongoing studies though the clinical diploma and subsequent prescribing qualifications. You will be expected to undertake the role of responsible pharmacist when working in outpatient areas. The post includes formal development opportunities from either the structured HEIW Post-registration Foundation Training Programme or a distance learning clinical diploma. Both these qualifications provide the foundation for excellent career development and a platform for professional and personal development. To meet the criteria for the HEIW post-Foundation training programme you must be qualifying in July 2025 or have registered with the GPhC after July 2024.
