You will be a vital member of the MSE team, undertaking several different roles which include transportation of patients, specimens, goods, blood products, medical gases, and equipment around the site to facilitate the smooth running of the clinical departments and the hospital. The job is physical in nature and includes the transportation of patients by wheelchair, patient trolley or bed, internally and externally. You will be working with patients so experience of working in a service environment is needed and requires good communication skills. You will need to have the ability to respond to emergency calls in a calm and professional manner. The role also requires you to undertake mortuary duties including movement of bodies from wards to the mortuary in a courteous, sympathetic manner.
