Post holder will play a pivotal role in promoting, leading, developing and delivering the BSW programme within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) and Powys HB. The role involves assessments, attending endoscopy lists, comsenting, recording /upload relevant information. Following participants to outcome the episode of care, liaising with relevant teams for follow on investigations. The post holder will attend Endoscopy and support participant, with emphasis on patient safety and dignity during all aspects of bowel screen programme. The post holder will have responsibility for the management of the BSW team within Powys and work closely with CTMUHB BSW team lead to ensure the BSW service is complying to current standards within the BSW/ Endoscopy service. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that policies and procedures are observed and meet the organisations requirements. The post holder will be expected to work across site (Royal Glamorgan Hospital/Prince Charles Hospital/Princess of Wales Hospital) or Cross Boundary work in the neighbouring Powys Health Board. Working week is over 5 days having a flexible approach to working hours/days to accommodate the BSW list within the service - Powys HB run weekend lists and this will be allocated on a rotational basis.
